Philanthrophy Event: The Red Cross

One of the five values of Phi Gamma Delta is Service, and we believe giving back to the community brings out the best in us. Phi Gamma Delta supports the Red Cross through different philanthropy events each year. The Red Cross is a humanitarian organization dedicated to disaster relief, community education, and emergency assistance. Phi Gamma Delta also participates in numerous other philanthropy events on campus throughout both semesters.

Sororities will partake in competitions including those such as relay races, obstacle courses, tug of war and much more. A more detailed schedule of events is listed below. All the proceeds of this event go towards our national philanthropy the American Red Cross.

The American Red Cross is active in much more than the blood donation category. The Red Cross provides disaster relief, health and safety services, supports military families, and also provides international relief services around the world. For those impacted by the natural disasters such as the hurricanes down south or the tornadoes in the Midwest, the Red Cross’ innumerable efforts helped our great nation recover. As members of Phi Gamma Delta, it is an honor to serve such a great organization.
